  4. Add egg, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, tea from the soaked mixed dried fruits, 2 and half cup of all-purpose flour in the yeast mixture and knead to form soft dough. The dough will be slightly sticky.
  5. If the dough is  thick you can add little milk to form soft dough.
  6. Transfer on floured surface and knead for 8 minutes with the heels of hand.
  7. Add the soaked dried fruits in the dough and knead for another 2-3 minutes  very gently so that dried fruits mixes well in the dough(Dried fruits should not break).
  8. Lightly oil a bowl and place the dough in it, cover it with a cling film and keep it in a warm place atleast for an hour OR till it doubles in volume.
  9. Gently punch it down.  Shape it into the loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan. Cover it with a damp towel and keep it in a warm place for another 30mins OR till it doubles in volume.
  10. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees centrigade.
  11. Bake the dough for 40mins or till its done.
  12. To confirm just tap the bottom of the bread and if it sounds hollow within, it means it done.
  13. Make a sugar syrup with 2 tbsp of sugar and 50ml of water.  Brush this syrup on top of the loaf when the loaf is hot to give it a good glaze. Cool it.
  14. Cover it and keep it covered in a bread box.  It will remain soft.
  15. Serve this with butter and tea or coffee.
