  8. Put a helping tablespoon or a desertspoonful in the middle of pattie. Close up the sides then push potatoes around the filling. Gently roll in hand till a round ball is formed. Put wax paper on a baking sheet. Coat the balls with all purpose flour.
  9. Carefully put the potato balls into the oil and fry. Turn as needed. Fry each side 3-1/2 minutes per side or till slightly brown. Then turn and fry each side 2 minutes each. Then move to paper towels to absorb excessive amounts of oil.
  10. Repeat till done allow last batch to rest 7 minutes and serve. I hope you enjoy!!!
